Pricing Misc.

Non-Refundable Retainer

A 10% non-refundable retainer is required for all wedding bookings to hold date; this retainer is in-addition to the service total and doesn’t go towards it. It covers all administrative and coordination costs as well. Example: if the service total $1500, then the retainer will be $150 in-addition to the services, for a grand total of $1650.

Travel

-First 10 miles are complimentary from my studio in Edgewood, PA 15218 (less than 7.5 miles from downtown Pittsburgh)

-At mile 11, it’s $1/mile to the getting-ready location-For location changes and destination weddings, inquire within!

Minimum + Maximum Headcount

-My headcount minimum is bride + 4 (or 5 services) May-October, Saturdays and Sundays

-Headcount must be established to book, with flexibility to add on maximum 3 more services after contract is signed. Once contract is signed, the headcount cannot be reduced. Replacements for lost services are more than welcome!

My bride-only package is hair and makeup for wedding day and a trial, and all the perks listed to the right, starting at $990

Quality and efficiency are of the utmost importance to me as an artist as well as a wedding vendor with my clients. I want my brides and their party to feel special, seen, and like their best selves! Which is why I go above and beyond to offer the most value in my services while not compromising on excellence.

Included in my pricing is:

-Complimentary skincare and haircare advice/planning from booking to wedding day

-Spa-like skin prep for any makeup application; body glow for that extra touch

-Timeline planning and coordination (will work with your planner/vendors)

-Brides get a touch-up kit including a full-size keepsake lipstick for their day; all party members get a mini touch-up kit

-All makeup services get lashes (if appropriate)

-All hair services get the option for hair padding if needed (clip-in extensions that you provide can be applied if discussed and allotted for ahead of time, inquire within

Bridal FAQs

  • You can either email me at sarajenkinsmua@gmail.com or go to https://www.sarajenkinsmua.com/contact with the date, time you’ll want to be done by, headcount, and location.

    From there, I will send over a contract and invoice to review. Once the contract is signed and the non-refundable retainer is paid, you’re all set!

  • At this time, due to high demand, I offer trials to signed contract clients only. You are more than welcome to book a stand-alone appointment with me to experience my services, but I cannot hold dates without a signed contract or retainer paid.

  • YES! I work with people of all different skin tones, skin types, hair types, ages, gender identities, sexual orientations, and religions.

  • At this time, no.

    I have chosen to phase airbrush out of my kit. I love the foundations I carry (Estee Lauder, Charlotte Tilbury, MAC, Face Atelier, Makeup Forever). I can achieve the exact same look with more traditional formulas while also making sure the makeup stays intact. Sometimes, airbrush can bunch on certain skin types, regardless of prep. Plus, if it cracks or flakes off, you can’t fix it like regular makeup.

  • By myself, I can take up to 7 services. I recommend bring additional artists when you reach 8+ services. For every 5-6 services, I’d bring one artist. Example, if you have 13 people getting hair and makeup (a total of 26 services), I’d bring myself and 3 additional artists to accommodate your party.

    The most amount of services I will take on as a company is 42 services in one sitting. This would equal me, Sara, plus 6 additional artists.

  • At this time, I do not offer ANY partial services. They’re more than welcome to get a standard makeup service that includes lashes!

  • I go above and beyond to make sure my bridal clients love their makeup, and this includes doing what they feel best in. For some, they like a heavier look. For others, they prefer something soft. While makeup will always look like makeup, my background in commercial makeup has given me the skill to do extremely undetectable makeup if it’s asked of me.

  • Cancellation is never desired but can happen! Cancellation from the bride’s side will require notice 60 days to avoid fees, 30-59 days 60% of final total, 0-29 days 100% of final total. If I have to cancel, all attempts at finding a replacement will be made. If not replacement is found, then all money except the retainer will be refunded.

    Rare exceptions can be made with refunding the retainer on a situational basis. My goal is to strike the balance of keeping my business up-and running while taking care of my clients and their needs, especially in tricky situations. Any questions, ask away!
