All services include a thorough consultation process before and during your appointment to ensure the highest quality experience!
BRIDAL: All bridal makeup services include lashes for each appointment (strip, clusters, a/o individuals* NOTE: these are not the same as lash extensions). There will also be a choice of traditional or airbrush foundation, included in the pricing. Each appointment will include a mini-facial to prep the skin.
Brides will also receive a touch-up kit for their wedding day that includes a full-size lip product (prestige, valued at $35-$40) as a gift, a touch-up powder, some concealer, a mini lash glue, hair pins, an elastic, tissues, and more.
All bridal hair services may include donuts (bulky netting to add volume) depending on the style and what the bride wants. At this time, I do not offer extensions for rent or purchase but I can direct you to where to purchase them yourself and how to have them prepared for your appointment!
BRIDESMAIDS/MOTHERS/OTHER: All other makeup services will receive the same lash offerings as the bride as well as a lip color sample to maintain their look throughout the event. They may also have a couple hair pins if requested.
Touch-up kits can be purchased by anyone else for $25/kit. The total number of kits to purchased must be finalized 30 days before the wedding day.

I include a Preview (my preferred term for a trial) in all my bridal bookings for the bride. I like to be able to ensure that my bride feels comfortable and confident with the look we create together!
I do offer Previews without a contract as a separate service. This is a great way for any brides to try me out while they’re still shopping around for their ideal artist. The cost is separate, and starts at $150 per service (both, it is $300). It will only go to the cost of the Preview if the bride decides they don’t need another Preview once the contract is signed. A separately-booked Preview is not a guarantee of the date being held in my calendar. Once the separate Preview is completed, the bride will have a courtesy-hold of 24 hours to agree to book the date. The contract must be signed and retainer paid 24 hours after that for their date to be held in my calendar officially. Once the initial 24-hour period is passed, the date will go back to first come, first serve.
The bride’s Preview is guaranteed with my services. I will allow anyone who wants to do a Preview as well to book one with me including Mother of the Groom, Mother of the Bride, any bridesmaids, etc. These Previews will not be included in the contract unless agreed-upon by the bride and person receiving the service. Otherwise, the service is a separate cost starting $150 a person. Each person is allowed up to 2 Previews maximum per my schedule. Any separate Previews will not be held on the same day as the bride’s appointment.
Previews are held Tues-Thurs, starting anytime between 9 am and 1 pm. They will last up to 2 hours per service (hair or makeup; up to 3.5 hours if both). Previews will take more time than services on the wedding day so we have more time to get it right! I recommend Previews are done no earlier than 4 months and no later than 2 months from the wedding day.

This is a common question and every artist has a different answer!
Traditional foundation is a mix of pigments, emulsifiers, hydrating ingredients, and preservatives. This allows for there to be such a diversity in products on the market. Have you ever noticed how different all foundations play with your one skin type? That’s because they’re all made to cater to a wide range of people.
Airbrush foundation is about the same mixture, in a much thinner consistency. It’s made the dry down much faster and provide a thinner texture on the skin. The action of the foundation being fed through the airbrush gun then makes the product attach to the very surface of the skin vs. blend into the skin itself.
This difference comes into play when I’m working with clients. I use a mix of silicone and water-based foundations and concealers. Silicone acts as a smoother and can help combat oil production. Water bases are great for clients who want a more natural skin finish and lighter coverage.
My philosophy is that I cater the product choices towards the job and the end goal. I create my kit to be versatile and able to mix with everything so I have no limitations in how I complete the job. I have no preferences except when the client has specific needs for the finished look and for their skin type. As a licensed and trained esthetician, I really let the skin do the directing on what I will use on each client.
For bridal, I also take longevity and the climate into account. If you have a preference, I will definitely work with you to make that happen.

The booking process can feel like the most daunting, but we do our best to make it seamless!
Once you’ve submitted a request on the Contact page, you will receive an email 1-2 business days later to set up a courtesy 20 min Discovery Call so we can get to know each other better. To me, my services are more than just the service. It’s about building a working relationship.
From there, we can either set up a separate Preview without a contract (see the trial question above for more details on that) or I will send you an invoice with a contract to be signed. You will have 48 hours to sign the contract and send the non-refundable retainer to secure the date. If the 48 hours elapses, then the date goes back to first come, first serve.
Once the contract is signed and the retainer has been paid, then we will schedule out all of your appointments (Preview, any additional appointments like engagement makeup, etc.).
You will have access to me as needed via email. I prioritize communication with my brides. I aim to respond to any questions within 12-24 hours. Mondays are the only day I have scheduled off so please allow for up to 36 hours for any question sent Sunday after 4 pm.
You will receive the final invoice to be paid 45 days prior to your wedding day. All final payments must be sent no later than 30 days before the wedding day. Any late payments will incur a late fee of 10% of the total.
All payments must be lumped together. It will be up to you to collect any money from other people receiving services.
The bride will be asked for all the emails of everyone receiving services. We will send our bridal consult form to everyone 30 days before the wedding day. This asks about allergies, hair type, skin type, etc. This arms us with the necessary information to prepare for your services ahead of time and show up ready to make everyone beautiful!
Final timelines must be confirmed 30 days prior as well. Services may be added at our discretion, but no services can be taken away once the contract is signed.
On the day of, the bride will get a message when I a/o my team is leaving and our ETA. Expect us to be there 20-30 mins early to set-up. It’s recommended you provide us a room that has a lot of open, natural lighting, hip-height tables, and a lot of outlets available.
Unless the bride has booked any touch-ups, we will pack out after services has been completed and everyone is satisfied.
You will be sent an email 5 days afterwards to check in and offer gratitude for booking with us! There will also be an opportunity for you to leave any feedback a/o give us a review. We take all feedback seriously as we’re always striving to do better :)
Any additional questions, feel free to email us!

I am located in Pittsburgh (East End area). Yes I travel! I may enjoy it a little too much :) I currently do not have a studio location, but will sometimes take clients for Previews out of a small studio set-up in my home. This is rare, as I prefer to come to you!
I will travel to you for the wedding day. Please see the Additional Costs question for travel details.

Awesome! Wedding planners can make the day and process go by much smoother.
During the pre-wedding day process, I will obtain your planner’s contact info and coordinate with them about the timeline.
I will set the pace ultimately for how fast the services will be happening. I typically allot 1 hour per service for the bride, 40-45 mins per service for everyone else. I set aside 30 mins at the end for final touch-ups.

Junior bridesmaids are considered age 12 and below. They will receive lighter makeup, age-appropriate hair, and a lip gloss touch-up. Junior bridesmaid services typically last 30 mins each service, and start at $75/service.
Flower girls are complimentary! They will receive a little blush, some eyeshadow, and lip gloss for makeup. If you want them to receive hair services, we offer a range of age-appropriate styles starting at $50.

Sometimes, cancellations happen and that’s ok!
All cancellations or rescheduling must done in writing via email and sent to sarajenkinsmua@gmail.com.
Any cancellations made before 60 days of the wedding day will incur no additional cancellation fees. If between 30-60 days, it will 60% of the remaining balance due. If after 30 days, 100% of the remaining balance is to be paid.
All retainers are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
POSTPONEMENT: Any postponements must also be done in writing via email. The same fees apply to these as they are for cancellations. Retainers will be given a one-time transfer if the date is rescheduled within 14 days of the cancellation.
CONFLICTING DATES: Double-booking can happen but we do our best to make sure it doesn’t. If it does, then we will do our best to find a replacement for any scheduling conflicts on our team. If we are unable to find someone 30 days before the wedding day, then all monies, except the retainer, will be refunded.
If we have to cancel on you for any reason, the same rule applies.
